Life

Somehow, life seems sometimes to be like a book. If one chapter is finished, another one gets started.

Life is an adventure, with up and downs.... but we all know that, i guess.

Sometimes it's not books that tell us how to make decisions, but our feelings. Books have no real clue about how it all feels, so why should "books" know which decision is the right one? it's only papers, words, lines and pages. That's all. They can be helpful indeed and can encourage our minds and thoughts to think more and more about certain issues. BUt that's all.
The real thing in life can not be learned out of a book.

Nevertheless, decisions-even if they are bad on one side- have something really positive on the other side, a positive side-effect :D

Addicted to .......

..................... Pride and Prejudice................

I am the lucky owner of this beautiful film for months now and since the day before yesterday I am so enormously addicted to this film. I don't know why I haven't watched it more often yet...but i discovered the beauty of this film 2 days ago and now can not stop watching it. It's like a drug ....

I can not put it in words how beautiful this movie is.... the whole story, the characters, the settings and just the whole film as one is pure magic. Keiry Knightly plays really well in this film and you can really relate to her and all those huge feelings she has to deal and handle with the whole movie through.

What I really like is the "Bonus section" where you can find out more on "the flirt politics of the 18th century"etc....

so please, watch it and tell me if you get addicted or not. If yes: It's not my fault haha

Hello hello hello

Dates are settled..I'll be heading off to Holland on december 26.. flight is operated by the german "lufthansa" which has eventually bought the austrians "Aua " (austrian airlines) . : )

I'll probably be back in Austria around June/July and then have to say goodbye to my sister cuz she will go to Brighton for a month in summertime. But I'll definitely go and visit her over there, enjoy the nice english countryside..go to Battle and explore Keane's traces haha and eat a bit of fish and chips.. and try to adapt more of this sexy british accent haha : )

newsflash

Dag allemal ! ;)

LOOOOOOOTS of things happened in the past few weeks.... to keep it short and simple I'll just tell you the summary.. here we go: I quit university, got a job now and go abroad as an au-pair from january 2009 to june 2009... and attend some sort of "college of tourism" in autumn of 2009.

The weather is not that good anymore here in Austria, lots of rain, cold and foggy days... However, the leaves of the trees have wonderful colours now..it's great to go out for a walk and look at the trees and leaves on the ground...

It's quite amazing how fast life can change...

Yesterday I talked to one of my friends about "destiny"... he said that destiny can be influenced up to 80% -which i don't believe. I mean you can choose this or that way, but you never know how your life would have been if you had chosen the other option. Of course you can influence it, by going one certain way, by choosing this or that. But then you don't know what would life have been like if you had chosen the other way...

back from KOS

My friends and I spent our "A-level-holiday" (if such a term exists lol) on KOS, for one week.

We were not quite happy about the hotel and their staff. The rooms were okay, but there were those ugly little animals, like spiders and "kakalaken" running around. the food was more than bad which we always referred to as "the recycling", because food from lunch was then used (in a different mixture) in the evening.

the pool looked nice, but after a few days we knew that we HAD to avoid using it.. -no comment on this cuz it's too ugly.

We were told that our hotel is a place where many "maturanten" (people finishing the a-levels) tend to spend their holiday there, which was not true in reality. The average age of the guest was PLUS 60. So we felt more and more mature after some days LOL... no but it was quite strange and we were sort of disappointed cuz it was so different from we expected the holiday to be.

THe beach was nice and we got to know a life-guard and many military guys from the military area which we were not allowed to take any pictures of. LOL..

BUt there were also many good things about KOS. CLUBBING was more than amazing. it was the best clubbing week I've ever had.
Eve, Theresia, Tami alias SIMONE (on KOS) and I went clubbing the whole week thru which was so great.
There is the so-called "barstreet" in the center of the city with lots of great clubs and pubs and just some nice places to hang out. Our favourite "club" was the "white corner". All the barkeepers knew us after the first day and it was always much fun with them.

Our friend Tamara called herself "SIMONE" on Kos which was such a laugh. cuz all the barkeepers from the white corner and the pubs beside the white corner always shouted"SIMONE; SIMONE..." when they saw us.... it was so much fun and they played such a great music there which we had to dance a lot to.

What is quite typical about the barstreet, are the "free shots" you get offered when you go there.
There are some people on the street who stand there and wait for the tourists/guests to arrive. When we -as touists- go there, they go like "free shots for everyone, free shots for everyone" to get us into the club. MOst of the time we agreed LOL
But there was another thing we liked about the barstreet, especially about the white corner..the so called "happy hour". it was not only one hour where you get 2 cocktails and pay for one., no, the "happy hour" was all the time. HAHA which was really really great :)

moreover we got to know lots of great people->thx for the nice time LOL

the countryside of KOS is also quite nice and they have lots of great beaches on the island.

so now we are back with a great tan on our skin :) and look forward to the time here.

that's all for nowwwwwwww.....
